NACSA’s Cybersecurity Bill will legally empower it to set cybersecurity standards for organisations classified as National Critical Information Infrastructure (NCII). Non-compliance with these standards can result in legal action. NCII, replacing the term CNII, includes systems crucial to national defense, security, economic stability, government functionality, public health and safety, and individual privacy.
Cybersecurity is a rapidly growing concern in today's digital world. Though it may not always be apparent, cyber attackers are continually adapting their methods to breach the computer systems of both enterprises and individuals.
Google tells us that employees today spend up to 75% of their time working in the browser. With the browser increasingly becoming a prevalent workspace in the enterprise, it is also emerging as a popular attack vector for cyber attackers. From account takeovers to malicious extensions to phishing attacks, the browser serves as a conduit for stealing sensitive data and gaining access to organisational systems.
Based on Help Net Security’s findings, critical vulnerabilities take 4.5 months on average to remediate. This situation poses significant risks and speaks to the need for CISOs to acknowledge these vulnerabilities as serious threats and a need to advocate for a security strategy that emphasises comprehensive insight and rapid response.
In this executive roundtable, our speakers will share learnings and best practices in securing the largest attack surface of any organisation today - the browser. Register now to gain actionable insights that will elevate your cybersecurity strategy in a dynamic digital landscape.
